We would like to thank Randy Jones of MBS Machining in Jasper, Alabama for all of his help in custom machining some crucial parts for our 2019 cycle robot! His help is tremendously appreciated by our entire team!
Fabrication time means lots of machining, and rain or shine we have been working on mills and lathes and seeing to it that our robot comes together on schedule. We sure have enjoyed how we spent our spring break.
The final design review of this competition cycle was the Software CDR. We Greatly appreciate everyone who helped us put finishing touches on the last bits of our robot.
The final mechanical CDR means it is time to fabricate a new robot. We also went over software with all of our reviewers giving amazing feedback. Thanks to all who participated!
Another PDR completed means continuing on with designing and testing our robot. Thank you to everyone who came and listened and had suggestions.
Thanks to everyone who helped with our very first PDR/CDR of the competition cycle!
The 2018-2019 Astrobotics team is hard at work creating test stands for new concept ideas for the 2019 Cycle! We are excited to show new members the ropes and dive into competition. Check back for more updates and photos throughout the 2019 Cycle!
