Alabama Astrobotics Lab Tours

The Alabama Astrobotics Lab welcomes visitors during the perspective student tours of the College of Engineering. Each student that visits the lab is encouraged to place a blue sticker on the map posted in the to indicate their hometown. The map shows the wide array of visitors the lab receives, along with the team members' hometowns marked with red stickers.

Women in STEM

Two female members of the Alabama Astrobotics team met virtually with Woodland Forrest Elementary School as a part of the school's unit on Women in STEM. These virtual visits were mostly informal talks where the team members shared their experiences in college and on the Team and encouraged the next generation of students to follow paths in the STEM field.

Alabama Astrobotics Speaker Series

The Alabama Astrobotics team has made many connections to the Space Industry through years of RMC competitions. We have had the privilege to welcome four incredible speakers to talk to our team about their work in the industry. These speakers have been Steve Cook of Dynetics Technical Solutions, Robert Lightfoot of Lockheed Martin, Tory Bruno of United Launch Alliance, and Phil Metzger of the University of Central Florida. Each speaker's visit with the team was recorded and can be viewed on our YouTube Channel. Thank you to all our guest speakers!
